She donated the money she made from "Friday" to Japan.
Honestly, I don't see how anyone could hate on her for that.
Respect.

		Exactly.
Yes, some say "Friday" wasn't a "great" song.
But a 14 year old making music! She has A LOT of potential.
I'm looking forward to see what she does in the future.
(Btw, she just released a new song, "My Moment" which isn't that bad)

Honestly she has a nice voice, I think it was the words to it. Like "Got to eat Cereal" and "What seat do I take?" Probably made her get hated.

Friday could have been better, but it wasn't bad. Her new song is pretty good.

Rebecca Black didn't make Friday. Her parents bought the song and she just had to sing it [she didn't make the lyrics]. Likewise, it's the company that gives money to Japan. :|
A 14 year old making a song is not something big...in fact too many people these days make music at young ages.

So, you can sing a song and have it be advertised by Disney and unless you've got some talent, it won't make you very famous (at least not for a good reason).
