The template and uploading directly to your avatar can be found here, on the page you use to change your skin: http://2dworlds.org/changecharacter.php

Right-click the template, click "Save As", and then use any image editing software -- GIMP and Paint.net are probably the best for free stuff, but Microsoft Paint will work just fine -- to create your own skin on the template.

Then, you could go here if you want to upload it to the Catalog and share it with others.
