Jacob_ started development on Buildism sometime in 2009. The site went online just over a year ago, in October 2010. Jacob_ stopped officially developing the game and released the Java source code in September this year, though he still occasionally adds small features and fixes. Currently, due to an attack on the server hosting the website, there's issues with characters showing on the website, and uploading content.

Edit: And these stupid 502 Bad Gateway errors. I hope Jacob_ manages to get this straightened out soon... it's getting beyond annoying.
