I don't understand what it does

Does it change the way terrain is generated or is it a shader?

I changed the ***PerChunk settings in the GenBiome*** file.

So I'm not really sure.

It increases the amounts of plants and stuff, as far as I can tell.

No, I started messing with some files, and realized I could make the biomes prettier. So that's what I did.

He meant he added extreme hills (and all the rest listed) to the biomes that are affected by the mod.
