Cannibalistic fish?

Well, that's why they say for some of them to keep them in different tanks...

The only ones I've ever had were a bunch of goldfish and unless they start getting big (and I mean so big you could make a sandwich out of one) that isn't much of a problem with them.

No, it was a NORMAL goldfish. And it just ate my other fish.

It just chased the weak fish around the tank until it cornered it and 1 hour later, all I saw was a bunch of fish bones around the tank and a dead fish body, in fact he's still eating it now.

Agreed. You need to get your fish tested. Make sure it isn't insane...

Ok but it is scaring me, he's eating the body as I type. Should I really test him?

... I think he was just joking.

Seriously though, you should talk to someone who would know more about it -- if you got it at a pet store, somebody who works there might be able to help you, even if only by telling you you should've put them in separate tanks.

Goldfish are indeed cannibals, but only if the other one died or was close to death. You'd also need 30 gallons of water for them.
