If X cannot be anything but X, then X + Y = Z is false because you can't add a letter. For it to work, X = 1 or X = 0 or X = 96,431,413, but X cannot equal just X.

If you say "x = x", that's like saying "A blahbderschninky is a blahbderschninky". It won't help anyone else understand what X, or a blahbderschninky, is.

I said x can be anything, I was just stating x can equal x; x meaning the infinite value...
So x = x

Sure, for any value of 1 that equation is true, but who cares?
