No "I'm leaving" threads. - These threads are almost always used to get attention, get sympathy, or promote a point of view. If you are really going to be unavailable, change your status to Away and/or post in the Hi/Bye Thread. Posting one of these will get you banned for however long you claim to be quitting for.
