Yeah, it makes sense merging posts instead of threads (used for only double threads I suppose, but in that case it may also just be better to delete/lock (and then move) the double thread).

I've tried, but it stinks sometimes because you'll have newer posts in the old thread and you end up having conversations shifted apart by two or three posts. Or even end up moving an older thread into a new one... That does not work out. Trust me. >.<

The name of the Hi/Bye thread got changed somehow, but when I edited the first post to fix it the correct name was there. That was weird.

The older the post, the more far back it will appear in a thread. It's better not to merge old threads.
