"The amendment prohibits the making of any law ... abridging the freedom of speech."

Therefore, your argument is invalid. We are not part of the US government. We are not making US law.

Yes, but you are following US Law.

Yes. And the first amendment says nothing about having to be able to insult people on the Internet. It merely says the US cannot make a law saying you cannot insult people on the internet.

Exactly. There is no law against it, we are free to do it.

There is a Buildism rule against it. And there is no law against the rule. Therefore you are not free to do it.

And there's not a law against making rules on an internet forum, so we are free to do that.

Quote:10th Amendment: The powers not delegated to the United States by the Constitution, nor prohibited by it to the States, are reserved to the States respectively, or to the people.

If you feel as if you have been banned for a invalid reason or a moderator isn't acting right towards you message Jacob. Posting it on the forums will only get you in trouble. .....and cause drama.

Doing that is abridging freedom of speech. What we are saying isn't racist. Immature, maybe.

No one wants you here.

Why can we not get it into your head?

THE FIRST AMENDMENT PROHIBITS THE US GOVERNMENT FROM MAKING A LAW ABRDIGING THE FREEDOM OF SPEECH.

THE TENTH AMENDMENT ALLOWS THE PEOPLE TO MAKE ANY RULES THEY SEE FIT AS LONG AS THEY DO NOT CONTRADICT ANY EXISTING LAWS.

THE PEOPLE (THE MODERATION TEAM OF BUILDISM, IN THIS CASE) HAVE MADE A RULE STATING THAT YOU CANNOT POST INSULTING MATERIAL ABOUT ANOTHER USER ON THE BUILDISM FORUMS OR COMPLAIN ABOUT MODERATION ACTIONS ON THE BUILDISM FORUMS.

THE MODERATION TEAM OF BUILDISM IS NOT THE US GOVERNMENT.

Kieron, like I said before in not here for anyone to really like me. Just do my job and have fun with the users who follow the rules.
