Unity has it's own webplayer. Yes, you have to install it.

When someone talks about "JavaScript games" they are almost definitely talking about games that use <script> tags to run in your web browser.

You can write a JavaScript interpreter in Java too!

Not sure exactly, some people refer to the Javascript in Unity as Unity script because it's not like normal Javascripts. Pretty much Javascript is just used for the programming, it's like the Lua for Buildism.

Minecrafts textures are 16x16. I was a MC texturepack maker so I should know. Buildism runs using a TON of pixels.
