I don't exactly understand, the boxes just shattered? Don't you need a script for them to do that?

No, it's a feature of Buildism. It's supposed to do that when you set MaxForce to greater than 0. However, as you can clearly see, the shattered bits combined are much, much larger than the original box.

Triangles aren't supposed to be breakable, if they do it's a bug.

The triangles were fine. The box bounced between them a few times, shattered, the pieces flew outside of the triangles, and the resulting pile is much huger than the original box.
