At the time, Rome was the whole world. At least the only one the Christians knew.

And if God knew there was a world beyond Rome why didn't he, say, predict something like THAT in the Bible?
North Africa and the Middle East was Rome... Constantinople aka Instanbul in Turkey was the capital of the Eastern Roman Empire, and you probably know about Cleopatra and Julius Caesar.

When Moses met God atop the mountain, God took him to heaven, and he somehow described the world as being round. It wasn't untill the middle ages that people beleived this. God also told the people to live everywhere around the world and spread the gosple around the world.
Aristotle knew the world was round in Ancient Greece, and Eratosthenes or what's-his-name even calculated the circumference of it, and that was before Rome.

But Moses said it first. It was written in the book of Exodus, wich is the second oldest book in the bible.

Get out, and take your off topic crap with you, this isn't bible school. This thread is asking the user base if ANY form of God exists and we share what we think. We are not here to debate how sick and twisted a certain religion is(though I must say Christianity and Islam are probably the most influential and sick religions to ever exist.) So please, get back on topic. I'm trying to be nice but when you tell all the users we are evil because we don't believe what you do makes you a selfish prick.
