Oddly enough, I found out about it from the twitter feeds reposted on NASCAR.com at around 6 PM.
I've always hated tornadoes. It's fortunately very rare that one forms that wide for that long, but when it does... devastation. It's a terrible, terrible disaster.

I found out about it on the news, the usual way. But yes, I've never heard of one that large.
