I have to agree with W&M on this one. It's obviously a part of South America; there are native people living on it; and Britain has no major territory near it. If they were barren and rocky and relatively uninhabitable or they were in the middle of the ocean or they were near a large British country or colony it might be different but I think the Falklands would be technically part of Argentina.
