But I just noticed!, also I hear they are trying to close Taringa (Argentinean's main site for sharing files)

The United States only has control over residents of the United States, your Argentinian site is fine.

Wrong.

Any websites that knowingly provide services to people in America fall under United States law. Now, I've never heard of Taringa, so it may be safe; but sites hosted in Britain that are used by many Americans must follow American code.

America is more Britain than Britain is more America.

But then again:
Website's hosted in America which break British laws can be viewed by Brit's with no penalty.
America is a totalitarian monarchy? :S
