It has been reported that the Eiffel Tower- Yes, I said THE EIFFEL TOWER, was destroyed in a recent incident. A local Christianologist reported that the tower obstructed God's view of "the pretty lady down the street" which caused him to point down the middle finger and shoot out lightning. If you ever go to Paris, just remember that the Eiffel Tower you see there is a fake even though they will never admit the loss of their only piece of recognition.

BREAKING NEWS
Our research team has returned from a long expedition to find the pronunciation of "Daemon." Some guy made a 50-page long theory on why "Daemon" could be pronounced "Dimon" or "Daymon." Unfortunately for that guy, some person looked it up on a Wikipedian talk page and discovered that Daemon's actual pronunciation is just like the way people say "demon." A Christianologist has decided that the word Daemon should be banned for having satanic connections.

How about I give you brief history of the English language:
After the Romans left Britannia(Modern day England), the Germanic Tribes invaded, successfully. Britannia was then renamed Engaland - meaning Land of the Angles. The language was called Englisc, again more to do with the Angles and the German suffix -isc, like we have -ish today. Englisc was what we call "Old English" and holds the roots of Late Modern English words. The Germans got kicked out by the French in 1066 by William The Conqueror, who with French and Englisc, created Middle English, also turning Englisc into English. Early Modern English was a change in pronounciations - the new language allowed the British to have contact with many people in the world. Spelling, grammar and the English dialect came into use in 1604. Finally, there's Late Modern English - the new words and spellings came into place due to the Industrial Revolution's inventions needing new names and because of the British Empire covering a quarter of the world's surface - the English had adopted to many foreign words and started changing the spellings of Early Modern English to the language what we are now speaking.
Before Americans complain about the foreign languages meaning Mom is correct:
America didn't have words similiar to "Mom" before the British colonised the East Coast, with the word Mum, which was then spread over what we now the United States of America.
As well, Mum is a Englisc root.
Therefore, the Angles(The British), have the correct speaking of the English language.
Wild fact:
George Washington was going to change the American language to something other than English - but instead, he stole it and decided to change a few spellings and claimed it original.

That Wild Fact is totally wrong...
Washington had nothing to do with any kind of language adjustments or borrowing. Most "Americans" were either British immigrants or their parents or great-grandparents were; they were already speaking English (and most thought of themselves as British until around the 1760s). If Noah Webster hadn't decided to "simplify" his dictionary around 1800, our English would be mostly the same as British English. He's why we have meter instead of metre and color instead of colour.
