Let's all go watch Winnie the Pooh.
There's a whole nother argument.
The latest Winnie the Pooh TV shows stink. The Super Sleuths and whatever the puppets one was -- The Book of Pooh, I think -- were not that good at all. Even when I was in the intended age range.
But the original, from about 20 years ago, is quite nice.

Dont put words in my mouth, Im saying that i dont see a "complex character development" in a freacking kids show involving ponies flying around and drinking tea. That's where you're wrong. The show has more than enough action to satisfy the average person.

Same thing with MLP, except for the fact that the new generation is actually good. Generation 2, 3 and Newborn Cuties was the worst thing ever put on television.

Out of curiosity, define "action" in a ponie cartoon

It's like any other show.
It has it's conflicts.
Characters have their own unique personality.
Problems arise.
Things are done to help weaken or fix the conflict.

Then I belive it is one of those shows that implement morales like:
"Don't lie"
"Always share!"
"Don't cheat on a friend"

That's one of the things I don't like. For example my favourite cartoon when I was younger was Tom & Jerry, the only thing I learned from that show is that you can easily knock someone's teeth with a hammer.
Matter of taste...

Dragons, manticorns, average villains.
And while the show does teach very kid-like stuff, it's still very entertaining.
