I see jacob_ really wants people to make games so I was thinking what if there was a day or a weekend set up with a big contest where the forums where shutdown other then 1 forum just to talk about the game you are working on all other post would be removed. Everyone would win a prize for participating and 1-3 users would win a big prize like an achievment and name color and custom profile. I think these 3 things would really make people want to make games.

1. The achievment would only have 3 in existance so very rare in the future

2. Name color makes people stick out and they like that

3. Custom profile is just awesome

Ive always have ideas and ideas but i dont make them due to the lack of scripting abilitye, well thats it!, im learning and making one, i got the main idea and as soon as i learn scripting it will be ready, in the mean time ill make the map!

What is the game?..well it will be called "Another World", it will be a ported version of 1991 Eric Chahi`s game

let's say you have an array of two chars [lua]char * poop = new char[2]();[/lua]

instead of writing to memory twice to write to both char's, you can do an epix h4x and only write to memory once!

[lua]*(short *)poop = 'h'|('i' << 8);[/lua]

now poop contains:

[lua]{'h','i'}[/lua] in that order.
