Yes I want to see everyones opinions.
No flaming allowed. If you want to flame do it on another thread forum website because it's not wanted here.
Oh yes I did repost this but I'm hoping this won't get locked because I do not mean to flame Ashely I just want to know what percentage of users think she is doing a good job.

I just want to make this clear, since some people think that Ashely is a power-hungry tyrant:
Ashely and I discussed it last week, and I also received some complaints from regular members. I know that it happened right after she was promoted to Community Manager, but it's not like she decided to demote him on her own and did it - we discussed it first.
Unlike a ban, demoting someone doesn't mean that we don't like them. It just means that we don't think they are suited for whatever position they had, just like I wouldn't make a good plumber. There's no reason to get mad at us for that, we're just trying to make sure that that all of the staff members we have are effective.
Remember that you guys are just as important in making this community work as I am. I've said this before but when you post a thread complaining about the mods, it makes everyone that reads it more anti-authority, even if your post is full of misleading information. If you really want to get something changed, and not just vent your anger, then PMing me will be just as effective.
Thanks for reading.

What has the community turned to? We have about 5 or 6 people banned right now and Mod Discussion is going crazy trying to deal with your guys' posts. I agree that some of you might not like how we moderator, but you should stop all the arguing and flaming because if it keeps going on Buildism will take a nose-dive off a cliff- like Roblox. Anyway, just stop with the hurtful threads, it's hurting the whole community and it poses no help to us to keep moderating.

How you have to first move the message to the trash can and THEN delete it.
Why can't the delete button in the inbox actually delete the message?
A trash archive does nothing if it still counts as something in your inbox.

What do you guys think of the moderators? Why? |

I know you guys think they are locking threads and such, but why do you think that they're being locked for no reason?
If you're upset because of your thread being locked, then instead of saying it's all the mods fault, you instantly think it's all the moderators. You should discuss it.

It's useless to criticize Jacob_ and the mods. |

I have been noticing plenty of posts recently that talk negatively about Jacob_ and the mods. I'm not very active, so idk if this has been said before, but I don't care, I'm posting it anyway.
It's Jacob_'s site, he can do whatever he wants with it. That includes allow mods to do stuff that people who pretend they own the site don't like. If he wanted to, he could redirect the forums to a gross shock site. He could ban everyone and wipe the forums and invite completely new members and just start the community over from the start. He could change the site address and name and not tell any of us.
I don't care if you flame me. I'm just making a point.

One think that is really niggling me about the moderators right now.
They are locking all threads that are opinions because they might "lead to a flame war". There really isn't any reason to lock the thread if it isn't flaming anyone. If the thread goes off topic and the poster of it had nothing to do with it than instead of locking the entire thread just delete all the off topic replies and give the users that went off topic a warning.
Another thing that annoys me.
Different moderators will give different punishments for the same rule.
Let's say that Moderator bob gives a user a warning for posting in the wrong section (which is the appropriate punishment for that) but moderator jack catches another person posting in the wrong forum, jack gives him a 1 day ban and moves the thread.
That has happened before and it is really unfair.
Another few things that bother me.
When a moderator will lock a joke thread because they don't understand the joke or they don't think it's funny.
When a moderator will lock a thread for no discussion value because they can't think of a good reply or it has no replies.
When a moderator tells you to PM them because of a thread you post about it than ignore your message.
When moderators create their own rules and doesn't tell anyone about it.
How vague the current rules are.
Now I could go on with this longer but I will stop here.
