  Well its worth a shot!

Why should we hire you as a moderator on Buildism? (what qualities do you have that are good for a moderator?)
Well, I think that I could be a good moderator for buildism becuase I have been on here for atleast 3 months now, I have seen plenty of situations of struggle on here. I defiantly know how to handle them from watching the mods do their work. Also, I never take sides. So I can hear both sides of the situation.

Why do you want to become a moderator?
Id like to become a moderator because I like to help, have fun ( but be serious at the same time) I am good friends with everyone on here, so I defiantly could get along with everyone. Thats no problem. This is my favorite online game and I want to be a contributer to making this even better then it already is.

Do you have previous experience at any other forum as a moderator?
Unfortunalty, No. Unless you want to count kierons website, but im definalty not counting that. I wouldnt take advantage of the job . I had many opertunitys to take advantage of kierons, yet I didn't.

What timezone are you located in?

Eastern time zone. Its 12:10 here.

More information at http://buildism.net/wiki/w/index.php?tit...cts#Coding

[lua]
Int = {} --Yes, its a table
function Int:new(one, two, three) --here I set the properties.
newTB = {x, y, z}
newTB.x = one
newTB.y = two
newTB.z = three

return newTB
end

a = Int.new(5, 8, 1) --Here we are using Int the same as Vec2D.
print(a.x) --5
print(a.y) --8
print(a.z) -- 1
[/lua]

Look over it. Simple. I'm gussing this is the same way (for you ROBLOXians) Instance.new works.

  Dialog system!

I've used UIs here to make a Dialog system, so that you can "chat" with NPCs much like ROBLOX's system. Only mine I made using normal items in about ... 1 hour overall.

Why should we hire you as a moderator on Buildism? (what qualities do you have that are good for a moderator?)

I use good grammar, for one. I know that's not a qualifying thing in itself but it casts a little more respect on a site when its users, especially moderators and admins, use good grammar.

I'm honest. I try to never lie to anyone. I know, I'm not perfect, but I will tell you what I think.

I tend to mess around but be serious, and I realise people have human error.
I'm not going to whip out the hammer every time I see something out of line and I'm not going to have a guidebook of responses for every situation, because if you stick to iron rules, things become too much of a serious, rather uninviting environment- that can be a bad thing, especially in smaller communities like Buildism.

I also have prior experience, as listed below.

Why do you want to become a moderator?

My main reason for wanting to become a moderator is because I want to be able to play a leading part in a growing community like this. it's what drove me to forum a large amount on CubeBomb, and it's what brought me here. I didn't come here FOR a mod position, but I came to be a part of what's happening now.

Do you have previous experience at any other forum as a moderator?

I've both been a Forum Moderator and am currently a Mod on CubeBomb. I was promoted by an admin the first time, (f-mod), and was then elected recently (a month or 2 ago) as a Mod.

What timezone are you located in?

Central Standard, GMT-6:00, although I'm active almost all day.

Why should we hire you as a moderator on Buildism? (what qualities do you have that are good for a moderator?)

I'm a loyal, trustworthy member of Buildism. I'm online most of the time, to watch threads, and I can be strict, but can also take a joke. I don't hesitate to lock or delete threads if they break the rules. I will think about warnings, I won't just warn anyone for no reason. I won't make exceptions for friends. If they spam a lot, I will warn them, and anyone, for that matter.

Why do you want to become a moderator?

Helping out the site is a major factor in my application. I'm another set of hands to help deal with spam attacks, to protect the site, and to help people getting to know the site. I know being a Moderator is a tough job, but I'm sure I can handle it, and since I'm getting off school on the 24th, I'll be online more often.

Do you have previous experience at any other forum as a moderator?

Yes, two sites. One has been shut down.
I had to clean up a mass spam attack against the site where I was a Moderator. Got the job done on my own.

What timezone are you located in?

GMT.
